McCutchen Joel Maske
Joel is a technology and Internet
entrepreneur. In January 2002, Joel founded his
third venture, Moogul Networks, to develop
market-defining technologies for peer-to-peer
knowledge management, information delivery, and
collaboration. Prior to Moogul, Joel founded
iSyndicate in October 1996, and as the Chairman,
President and CEO, steered the company to its
position as the leading, global provider of
content syndication and infrastructure solutions
with 250 employees generating $30 million in
annualized revenue. iSyndicate raised $75 million
in venture and strategic capital from Microsoft,
NBC, and News Corporation, and with Bertelsmann
AG, launched iSyndicate Europe, a 50/50
joint-venture company, before it was acquired by
YellowBrix, Inc. in August 2001. Prior to
iSyndicate, Joel was co-founder and Vice
President of GALT Technologies, creator of the
Internet's first financial portal, NETworth.
Intuit acquired GALT in 1996 and integrated
NETworth into its market leading Quicken.com
service. Joel holds a BS in Mechanical
Engineering from Iowa State University and was
attending Carnegie Mellon's Graduate School of
Business when he co-founded GALT in 1994.
Joels media and speaking appearances are
numerous, including CNN and CNBC; the New York
Times and Harvard University &
Forrester Researchs Technology Summits; and
the investment banking technology conferences of
Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan, and Salomon Smith
Barney.

Peter Simon
Peter has more than 25 years experience with
leading media and publishing companies. He served
as Director of Content Licensing at The Deal,
LLC, where he was responsible for driving the
company's content licensing initiatives and
negotiating deals with major information vendors.
Prior to this, Peter was Vice President of
Content Distribution & Alliances for The Gale
Group where he managed the company's content
distribution business and partnerships with over
60 partners. Peter began his career with
Reed-Elsevier PLC Group, where he held several
key management positions, including Executive
Vice President of Business Development &
Database Publishing at Reed Reference, and Vice
President of Business Development for a business
unit of Lexis-Nexis. Peter is currently Chairman
of the Board of Directors for the Software &
Information Industry Association (SIIA), Content
Division. Peter has a BA in English Literature
from City College of New York and a M.S. in
Library Science from Columbia University.

Alan McCutchen
Alan has more than sixteen years of software
architecture and development experience. Most
recently Alan served as CTO at Digital Owl,
developers of leading digital rights management
software. Alan pioneered the patent-pending
design and development of PKI-protected document
transformation and delivery for Palm OS devices.
He managed partnerships with TealPoint Software
and Aportis Technologies, providers of leading
synchronized Palm OS document readers TealDoc and
AportisDoc. By leveraging PDA readers, standard
Palm HotSync and Conduit APIs, PKI encryption
technology, and adaptive heuristics-based
document transformation, Alan was responsible for
creating previously unavailable seamless
compatibility for Palm OS devices. Alan was also
responsible for research on delivery for a wide
range of wireless devices including cellular
telephones and wireless PDA devices. Prior to
DigitalOwl, Alan served as Principal Systems
Architect for DataViews Corporation, a leading
provider of graphic user interface(GUI)
development tools. He was responsible for
development of new product functionality. Alan
began his career with Harris Corporation in the
mid-1980's, where he specialized in user
interface development and technology analysis as
part of projects for NASA.
