Jack Spielberg,
Founder and Director of Business Development
With extensive experience marketing
Japanese products, Jack Spielberg serves as
Director of Business Development for Wasabi
Wireless. He is charged with overseeing the
strategic direction, business development and
overall vision and profitability of the company.
Spielberg possesses more than 10 years experience
in business development, international marketing,
and sales management. In 1990, he attended Kansai
Gaikokugo University in Osaka, Japan studying
Japanese language and International marketing. He
has an advanced command of the Japanese Language.
Jack is a veteran start-up business builder,
hired by Japan's Asahi Chemical in 1990 to manage
business development and sales in North America
capturing 50 percent market share in just over
two years. In 1999 he left Asahi to develop the
New York office for iSyndicate, a San Francisco
based web and wireless content syndication
company with $100 million in venture capital from
Microsoft, NBC, and News Corp. Jack captured
iSyndicate's leading accounts including Credit
Suisse First Boston, Major League Baseball,
NBCTV, Bacardi and others, In April 2002 he
founded Wasabi Wireless based on the success of
NTTDoCoMo in Japan and NTTDoCoMo's $9.8 billion
dollar investment in AT&T Wireless to bring a
version of DoCoMo to the United States by
2002-2003.

Matthew Overton, Consultant
Matt has more than ten years experience working with content and its associated technologies, and has been working with the executive team to define Wasabi Guide. This has involved assessing current and future user needs, developing pricing and promotion strategies, and articulating the product strategy against future developments in wireless technology. Previously Matt consulted for Scient, where he led content and content management projects for clients in London, Boston and New York, as well as a period managing the user experience practice for Scient's London and Paris offices. Matt started his business career in the UK at a subsidiary of Pearson, where he worked as a magazine and online journalist. He then joined the business-to-business information division of Reed-Elsevier as an internal consultant, and was appointed editor of Reed Computer Group's online activities, including the influential Computer Weekly news site. Matt has a BSc (Hons.) in Business Administration, specializing in Strategy and Marketing, and a PhD in the Management of Technological Innovation, both from Aston Business School in the UK. He has written extensively about the Internet and technology, and appeared on BBC News as a technology commentator.

Edward Faherty, Creative
Director
Ed brings over fifteen years of creative
design experience and advertising design planning
to Wasabi Wireless. As our Creative Director, Ed
leads the graphic direction of our 3G product,
Wasabi Guide V2.0 including overall design, game
and contest formats, GPS digital mapping and
digital coupon creation and proximity based ad
placement. Ed also manages our corporate web site
as well as all marketing tools, presentations and
communications. As Senior Designer at Gorp.com
for five years, one of the leading outdoor travel
websites, Ed Faherty managed the design,
deployment and maintenance of Gorp.com as well as
managing web site design and maintenance for over
one hundred web hosting customers. In his past
freelance career he created a wide range of print
and digital solutions for publishers including
McGraw-Hill and Random House, developed
co-branded digital and print advertising
campaigns for Yahoo, America Online, Timberland,
Eastern Mountain Sports and others. Ed is also
highly skilled as a digital cartographer. At
Gorp.com he headed the initiative to create a new
type of web site including outdoor enthusiast
specific clickable maps along side travel
content, giving hikers, bikers and mountain
climbers clear, accurate and reliable maps for
travel planning and staying on track during their
adventure. These custom maps helped Gorp.com
establish substantial greater credibility with
their customers augmenting their user base
exponentially, lengthened the duration visitors
stayed on their web site and opened the door for
greater advertising revenue and the addition of
other commerce channels at Gorp.com.

Justin Foster, Director of
Product Technology
Justin brings more than six years of
software architecture experience including
graphic user interface(GUI) programming, wireless
content delivery, database and network
programming. He has programmed in HTML,XML/XSLT,
Perl, PHP, JSP, JavaScript, SQL and Oracle. He
has an excellent command of Windows, Linux and
solaris. At iSyndicate Justin managed the
conversion, standardization and implementation of
XML content for many of iSyndicate's most
intricate professional services projects as well
as wireless content delivery including
converstion from XML to WAP for delivery to
wireless devices for disparate content sources
including the Associated Press, ABC News,
Business Wire and graphic AccuWeather Products.
At Sony Computer Entertainment America, Justin
provided intellectual property compliance
consulting senior level management as a
Technology Compliance Auditor for Sony Computer
products.
