Q:
Can
I use my current cell phone?
A: Yes, Wasabi Guide V1.0! can be
delivered to most current cell phones. Weekly
updates are short text messages. Some phones need
to have the text message receive function turned
on. However, most phones simply receive text
messages automatically. Your cellular carrier's
technical support can help you determine your
phone's status and also confirm that your cell
phone can receive text messages. Q: How does Wasabi
Wireless work?
A:
Most
cellular phones can receive short text messages.
Every Wednesday and Friday Wasabi Wireless sends
Wasabi Guide Sushi & Sake deal alert messages
to all of our customers. Your cell phone receives
the message and alerts you with a beep, tone or
ring that you have a new message. Use your
phone's menu to access and view the message. If
your phone is off when you receive the message,
you will be notified of the new message once you
turn on your cell phone.
Q: How do I
view text messages on my cell phone?
A: Viewing text messages on your cell
phone depends on the make and model of the phone.
Please refer to your phone's user manual for
detailed information on how to view text
messages. If you don't have your manual, please
contact your cellular service provider's
technical support or the equipment manufacturer.
Q: How do I
stop my phone from beeping when I get a message?
A: Most cell phones allow
you to choose your preferred text message alert
method. Typical alert options include beep, tone,
ring, vibrate or silent mode from which you may
choose. Please check your cell phone's
manual for instructions on selecting an
option. If you don't have your manual,
please contact your cellular service provider's
technical support or the equipment manufacturer.
Q: What if my
cell phone is turned off or I am out of my
coverage area?
A: Most cellular carriers
attempt to deliver text messages to your cell
phone for at least three days and sometimes more.
Message not received by your cell phone within
that time period will usually be deleted by your
cell phone company. Please let us know if you
miss a specific Wednesday or Friday. We will be
happy to resend that day's Wasabi Guide V1.0
alert to you.
Q:
How do you select the restaurants?
A: Our team of leading Japanese Master
Chefs suggest New York Japanese restaurants for
review. They methodically evaluate the restaurant
candidates and based on a range of criteria
including reputation, live interviews with the
owners and the head chefs, evaluations of the
sushi, sashimi and the restaurant's signature
dishes. From there we choose our best
recommendations and provide them to you through
Wasabi Guide V2.0.
