Guide V1.0 Checklist
If you have subscribed to Wasabi Guide V1.0 and
have received confirmation by email that your
subscription is actived, but are not receiving
Wasabi Guide messages to your cell phone, please
try checking these cell phone settings first: 1. Check
that receive text messages is "on"
- Please make sure that "receive text
messages" is activated on your telephone.
Cell phone owners manual and some carrier's
technical support often provide assistance for
the phones they sell as part of their cellular
service.
2.
Check that notification is turned
"on"/tone, beep or vibrate has been
selected- Some phones receive text
messages automatically, but users must turn on
notification and choose how(e.g. tone, beep or
vibrate) to be notified of incoming messages.
3. No
confirmation email was received - If you
successfully completed both the subscription
payment process and Wasabi Wireless account
setup, but did not receive an email conformation
that your subscription has been activated, please
call customer service at (973) 655-1418 for
assistance or email help@wasabiwireless.com
Q: How do I
view text messages on my cell phone?
A: Viewing text messages on your cell
phone depends on the make and model of the phone.
Please refer to your phone's user manual for
detailed information on how to view text
messages. If you don't have your manual, please
contact your cellular service provider's
technical support or the equipment manufacturer.
Q: How do I
stop my phone from beeping when I get a message?
A: Most cell phones allow
you to choose your preferred text message alert
method. Typical alert options include beep, tone,
ring, vibrate or silent mode from which you may
choose. Please check your cell phone's
manual for instructions on selecting an
option. If you don't have your manual,
please contact your cellular service provider's
technical support or the equipment manufacturer.
Q: I am
not receiving any new text messages. Why not?
A: Many cell phones have a
maximum number of text messages they can store
before text message memory is full. Please refer
to your phone's user manual for details on
maximum message amounts and deleting old
messages. If your text message count is not at
maximum and you are still not receiving Wasabi
Guide text messages *only*, please contact Wasabi
Wireless customer support immediately at
973.655.1418. If you are not receiving any text
messages at all, please contact your cellular
service provider's technical support or the
equipment manufacturer.
Q: What if my
cell phone is turned off or I am out of my
coverage area?
A: Most cellular carriers
attempt to deliver text messages to your cell
phone for at least three days and sometimes more.
Message not received by your cell phone within
that time period will usually be deleted by your
cell phone company. Please let us know if you
miss a specific Wednesday or Friday. We will be
happy to resend that day's Wasabi Guide V1.0
alert to you.
Q:
How do I cancel my Wasabi Guide V1.0
Subscription?
A: All Wasabi Wireless
cancellations are done by telephone for security
reasons. Please contact us at 973.655.1418,
providing your name and cellular telephone
number. If your call is placed into our voice
mail system, we will contact as soon as possible
by telephone to terminate your subscription.
For
all other problems, please contact customer
service at (973) 655-1418 between 9:00AM and
6:00PM or feel free to email help@wasabiwireless.com if
you prefer email communication. We will
investigate the problem and notify you as soon as
the problem has been resolved.
